From September 1946 until mid 1973, the U.S. issued thirteen series of MPC's to our soldiers overseas for the purpose of controlling the black market and to keep U.S. cash from getting into the hands of our enemies. Little of the massive issues were saved as soldiers were given just a few days notice before a series became worthless and a new series came into effect. Many of the G.I.'s who brought a few notes home as souvenirs became the first collectors trying to collect them all.
In an effort to control our costs, we will not be scanning any notes with a retail price of less than $15
